Another one of the big players in the
dishwasher market, Indesit is the second biggest manufacturer
in Europe, after Bosch. Italian based Indesit also took
ownership of UK based Hotpoint in 2007. As such if you are
encountering a problem it may well be common across models on
both brands, which makes searching for the solution a little
easier! Below are some of the typical errors an Indesit
dishwasher might throw at you to help you in finding the
problem. If you are presented with a different code, it could
be a more complex problem and it might be time to contact an
engineer.

remembering that these error codes often point
to the symptom of the dishwashers
malfunction, not always the cause. So
these codes should not be used as a definitive
guide to what (if any) parts may need replacing
with spares, but just as a general guide to
point you in the right direction during
troubleshooting.

Indesit Dishwasher Error
Codes
- F10 - Fill or empty
time out. Check that the hoses are not kinked,
that the taps are on or whether the drain
pump or hose is
blocked.
- F11 - Heater timed
out. The heater has not reached the required
level.
- F20 - Temperature
under range.
- F21 - Temperature
over range.
