A well known UK brand of white goods,
Hotpoint was bought out in 2007 by Indesit. As such, newer
models from both brands share design features (and thus design
problems!). So when searching for common issues affecting your
dishwasher, it may well be worth looking at typical
malfunctions from both brands as they are often one and the
same.

remembering that these error codes often point
to the symptom of the dishwashers
malfunction, not always the cause. So
these codes should not be used as a definitive
guide to what (if any) parts may need replacing
with spares, but just as a general guide to
point you in the right direction during
troubleshooting.

Hotpoint Dishwasher Error
Codes
- F10 - Fill or empty
time out. Check that the hoses are not kinked,
that the taps are on or whether the drain
pump or hose is
blocked.
- F11 - Heater timed
out. The heater has not reached the required
level.
- F20 - Temperature
under range.
- F21 - Temperature
over range.
