AEG Dishwasher
Spares

AEG were originally a German company,
up until the late 1990's when the company ceased to exist. The
brand name was recently bought by Electrolux and now trades
under the name AEG-Electrolux. As a result older AEG
dishwashers (10yrs+) don't share design/parts with their more
modern counterparts, and troubleshooting the two generations of
dishwasher doesn't share much common ground. The upshot of
course is that the new models have the benefit of sharing
Electrolux design instead, with parts and spares in plentiful
supply.

Its worth
remembering that these error codes often point
to the symptom of the dishwashers
malfunction, not always the cause. So
these codes should not be used as a definitive
guide to what (if any) parts may need replacing
with spares, but just as a general guide to
point you in the right direction during
troubleshooting.

AEG
Dishwasher Error
Codes
- 30 -
Flood protection activated. Don't
worry your kitchen won't likely flood - the
dishwasher has detected a leak and shutdown to
prevent just that. If possible tip the
dishwasher enough to drain all water out the
basin and try to run the cycle again. If the
dishwasher is intergrated and you can't tip it,
try removing the inspection panel at the base
and mop up any excess water with a sponge. If
the error kicks in again you most likely do
indeed have a leak which will need attention.
Too many suds caused by using washing-up
liquid, etc may also trigger this error. This
error may also appear as C3 on
some models.
